Outside of work, Jennifer is a creative at heart, a potter who works with clay and a kiln, crafting many different unique pieces in her free time. She’s also an avid reader and hiker, always up for an adventure. And if that’s not interesting enough, she’s lived in Germany, used to shoot competitively, and is the proud owner of three snakes.

Laken is a 2023 graduate of East Tennessee State University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in English with minors in journalism and technical writing.
A native of Kingsport, Tennessee, Laken recently moved to Cookeville with her husband, Garrett. Outside of work, Laken enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, reading, thrifting, antiquing and hiking the many trails around Cookeville. She also cherishes time spent with family and friends back home—and with her beloved yellow lab, Beau.
